Ain Tsila Gas Field Development
Petroceltic Ltd., 2010-2013
OAGVL has managed Facilities Engineering, Cost Estimates and Economics input for this project from the appraisal stage in 2010. Technical challenges include a very large, sand dune covered field (60 km x 20 m), high development well count (127), unstable escarpment, etc. The field is estimated to hold approximately 2.8 TCF natural gas.
OAGVL scoped and managed the early engineering studies and developed high level cost estimates for the project. Our involvement with the field appraisal team ensured complete fluid testing to provide appropriate fluid composition information for the design of processing facilities. Subsequently, OAGVL prepared a detailed scope of work for the Conceptual Study, including desktop geo-technical study and managed the execution of the work for the project in aid of the Final Discovery Report for submission to the Algerian regulatory authorities. Currently, we are assisting the Company to prepare the scope of work for FEED.
